Elbaite (indicolite) with Quartz.
AB76M4: Elbaite (indicolite) with Quartz
Sharp Indicolite crystal showing a very striated top termination and a recrystallized bottom one. The specimen shows throughout a deep and uniform blue color. As a matrix, a strongly deformed but complete Quartz crystal. This Indicolite specimen is exceptional for its quality and for being on matrix.
The specimen has been photographed and published in the magazine ‘Paragénesis’, number 01/2020, page 68
Santa Rosa Mine, Itambacuri, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais  Brazil (±1990)
Specimen size: 8.1 × 4.5 × 3 cm = 3.19” × 1.77” × 1.18”

Main crystal size: 4.4 × 0.9 cm = 1.73” × 0.35”

Elbaite (variety indicolite).
TJ10AE9: Elbaite (variety indicolite)
Single Elbaite crystal with flattened forms and very well defined parallel growths. The crystal, partially coated by Muscovite, is translucent, with an intense and uniform blue color on the prism faces and is greenish yellow on terminal faces. Very unusual.
It is with the labels of Hamel Mining & Minerals and Scott Williams Mineral Company, that we’ll send to the buyer.

Elbaite (variety indicolite) on Quartz.
EMR26AO9: Elbaite (variety indicolite) on Quartz
Obtained at Ste. Marie 2022 Elbaite crystals, one of them clearly dominant and very aerial, with very well defined faces and edges and very rich in faces on the terminations. Transparent, very lustrous, uniform blue with greenish reflections and implanted in a Quartz crystal.
Santa Rosa Mine, Itambacuri, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais  Brazil
Specimen size: 4 × 1.9 × 1.7 cm = 1.57” × 0.75” × 0.67”

Elbaite (variety indicolite) with 'lepidolite' and Quartz.
TE37J3: Elbaite (variety indicolite) with 'lepidolite' and Quartz
Prismatic crystal of very well defined faces and edges, both on the prism and on the pinacoidal termination. The crystal has a rich blue-green color and a considerable transparency (under intense light) and it is partially covered by 'lepidolite' and Quartz crystals.
Cruzeiro Mine, Santa Maria do Suaçui, Governador Valadares, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais  Brazil
Specimen size: 5.6 × 2.3 × 2.7 cm = 2.20” × 0.91” × 1.06”

Elbaite (variety indicolite) with Fluorapatite.
VC29Y9: Elbaite (variety indicolite) with Fluorapatite
A crystal with simple forms including the very well-marked curved trigonal prism and smooth pinacoidal termination. It has a very intense, uniform and deep blue color, masked by the crystal's thickness but easily visible with an intense light.
Minas Gerais  Brazil (±1973)
Specimen size: 8.4 × 3 × 2.5 cm = 3.31” × 1.18” × 0.98”

Price: [SOLD]
Elbaite (variety indicolite) with Quartz.
TH97AL5: Elbaite (variety indicolite) with Quartz
Group of Elbaite crystals (indicolite variety) forming parallel growths with very sharply pointed polycrystalline pyramidal terminations. The crystals are transparent, with great luster, mostly blue but with pink tones in the lower part. This is one of the few large specimens saved for collectors from the lucky finds of the 1980s, most of which went to the gem trade for faceting, which yielded crystals with a quality and density of color, and luster, far superior to previous finds. A unique specimen which demonstrates how very unpredictable Nature can be.
Santa Rosa Mine, Itambacuri, Vale do Rio Doce, Minas Gerais  Brazil (±1980)
Specimen size: 15 × 12.5 × 8 cm = 5.91” × 4.92” × 3.15”
